Automotive.

We have the systems, technology and car handling facilities to keep you in control and make your supply chain as agile and efficient as possible. With unrestricted access to the Irish Sea and excellent road links to the UK we are perfectly placed for both the import and export of cars, vans and lorries. We have secure handling and storage facilities for up to 2,000 vehicles and have a dedicated team of specialists with over 20 years of experience in supplying automotive logistics solutions.

Marine.

It’s plain sailing all the way thanks to the full range of Marine services we can offer at the Port of Heysham. From marine pilotage and pilot transfer service to hydrographic surveying and navigation assistance we have the solutions you need to keep your supply chain flowing smoothly. Our experienced and resourceful marine team can also assist with mooring services.

Offshore.

With direct access to the Irish Sea we can offer easy access to offshore windfarms. It’s a service portfolio that perfectly complements our own renewable energy, marine and project cargo offerings. One which offers specialist commercial, upgrade, conversion, fabrication, engineering and refit opportunities.

Port Security.

Security and safety is paramount and imports and exports are rigidly controlled and protected 24/7 using sophisticated surveillance systems and experienced Port Police. You can rest assured that the Port of Heysham is one of the most secure ports in the UK.

Property.

At the Port of Heysham we have big plans for you with no less than 14 acres of prime land ready for potential development or storage. We have secure warehousing, offices, meeting rooms and modern facilities which are available short and long term. But our solutions don’t end there, we also offer purpose built compounds for haulage operating centres.

Stevedoring.

We have a team of highly trained and experienced professionals working for us full time here at the Port of Heysham. Currently we have 60 stevedores operating the complex machinery and offering a service which is second to none. You will benefit from their friendly resourcefulness, knowledge and experience in handling a wide range of commodities through the port.
