We want every colleague to feel empowered to be themselves and thrive at work. We value different perspectives, experiences and ideas because they help us build stronger teams and a better business.
We want every one of our employees to feel empowered to be themselves and thrive at work every day. Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Steering Committee spearheads this commitment, ensuring a fulfilling, inclusive and secure environment for all our employees. Beyond this committee, our Equality Champions from across the organisation play a pivotal role.
With a focus on Gender, Ability, Identity and Ethnicity as well as our Armed Forces colleagues and our Early Careers Ambassadors, we advocate diverse perspectives and experiences. When you begin your journey with us, you have the opportunity to be part of these impactful initiatives, contributing to a workplace that values and celebrates differences!
Having been honoured with the prestigious Gold Status Award from the Armed Forces Covenant in recognition of our commitment to the military community, we take immense pride in our Group’s composition, which includes many ex-military personnel, highlighting our commitment to harnessing their unique skills for meaningful contributions. Our Armed Forces Network includes colleagues from across the Group who work together to share ideas, insights and to support the business to attract and retain ex-forces personnel within our organisation.

We’re committed to creating a workplace where our people feel supported, both personally and professionally. With over 100 trained Mental Health First Aiders across our business, colleagues have access to a strong network of support that encourages open conversations around mental health and wellbeing.
We also partner with We Talk Too to provide Mental Health Awareness Training for Managers, helping our leaders recognise when support may be needed and encourage positive wellbeing. Alongside this, our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), provided by Health Assured, gives colleagues access to additional support and resources when needed, helping us create an environment where mental health is discussed openly and wellbeing truly matters.
