A new £30m RoRo berth at London Medway
Peel Ports Group are investing £30 million into the development of a new RoRo (Roll-on, Roll-off) berth at the Port of Sheerness to meet growing demand from new and existing customers.
The project will see a new in-river vessel berth and floating pontoon developed, increasing capacity and ability to cater to larger vessels.
Planning permission granted for £150m investment at Hunterston PARC
A £150m upgrade to Hunterston PARC marine yard has been given a boost as it is awarded planning permission, paving the way for increased offshore wind power off the UK’s west coast.
Scottish Power Renewables picks Great Yarmouth port for EA2
The agreement will see the various components for the windfarm’s 64 latest-generation offshore wind turbines pre-assembled on shore – including the 192 blades being manufactured at the Siemens Gamesa factory in Hull – before installation offshore.
