Our ports have deep water docking, with superior efficiency and productivity in vessel loading and offloading and turnaround. Liverpool has 18 acres of outside space for metals, including a 13 acre berth next to deep water with a 100,000 sq ft semi-automated coil warehouse, with a further 150,000 sq ft of inside store available.

We also have the UK’s first fully automated steel terminal in the Liverpool Steel and Metals terminal (LSMT) located at the Port of Liverpool’s Canada dock, the terminal features a fully automated warehouse and interactive customer web portal, which mean customers will have round-the-clock instant access to the ordering process.
Real time stock availability, precision coil selection and a vehicle booking system will give customers best value by minimising back office processing and paperwork, handling, and haulier turn-around time. The terminal also includes an automatic weighing facility and instant customer reporting means that customers will be able to track their order real-time from ship to door.

Perfect whether you want to send large or small shipments. These can then be shipped up the canal inland, saving you road miles. But that’s only half the story.
Our facilities are as modern as our location is perfect. Your cargo could be handled and managed by our super-efficient automated cranes and state-of-the-art inventory control system in Liverpool. Here we can handle vessels carrying up to 50,000 tonnes with a 12.4m draft and 32.6 beam, which delivers major economies of scale.
