Over the past two years, our HR team has been on a bold and exciting journey—working to transform how we attract, engage, and retain skilled diverse talent. Focusing on creating a fantastic employee experience, that drives organisational improvements to engagement, productivity and performance. During this journey, we've been building the foundations for a future by working on the fundamental foundations - upgrading our systems, processes, and capabilities to meet evolving business needs.
As our business continues to grow, so does our ambition and requirement for people focused support. We're expanding our HR team to accelerate service improvements, deepen strategic partnerships with key leaders, and elevate the employee experience across the board.
We’re looking for hands-on, proactive, and passionate HR professionals to join our HR Operations Team in roles at both HR Business Partner and HR Advisor levels. Opportunities are available across Liverpool, London Medway, and Glasgow.
You’ll be joining a collaborative, high-energy team that’s committed to delivering excellence—and to helping you grow and thrive in your career.
To bring this opportunity to life, hear from Gabriella Ham, HR Business Partner at Peel Ports Group, who shares her inspiring journey:
“Since joining Peel Ports in 2015 on a 6-month FTC as a Resourcing Assistant, I’ve grown through a variety of roles, now leading the HR team within the Container division and operating as a member of the local senior management team. Every day is different—from shaping employee relations strategy and driving ED&I initiatives, to being part of the Container division leadership team leading the changes that will shape our future.

In addition to this, I’ve had the chance to represent Peel Ports on BBC North West Tonight, win at the Big Logistics Diversity Challenge, and host podcasts that spotlight our transformation. I’m especially proud of leading our Gender Action Committee, championing female talent in the port industry and building a strong internal network.
Since stepping into the HR Business Partner role in January 2024, I’ve gained greater strategic influence and autonomy helping shape the future of our people agenda both locally and across the Group.
These new roles are a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact, grow your skills, and be part of something meaningful.”
