30,000 m2 of warehousing space near London
Build a resilient supply chain on the doorstep of the capital
With evidence of an upsurge in stockpiling and warehousing shortages across the country as reported by UKWA. Peel Ports London Medway have allocated a new multi-use site with 30,000m2 of covered space to support the supply chain sector at The Port of Sheerness.
The facility is located near London with access to the M2 and M20 motorways and can serve as a base to supply factories, production lines, construction projects and palletised FMCG distribution.
The facility can accommodate plywood, steel coils, bulk products as well as palletised FMCG products, all in a covered area within a secure port area.
There are no requirements for a long-term contract either, with customers able to take as much or as little space as they like for as long as they like. This means customers can respond to changes in demand by simply increasing or decreasing their footprint - this provides a space for businesses to grow.
The facility also benefits from a port-centric location, vessels from across the world come into Sheerness – reducing road miles and costs. Unlike Tilbury down the road, the Port of Sheerness has 11m of water depth at all states of tide and no lock system, meaning no delays in shipments.
With competitive rates, close access to London, flexible space and no long-term contracts, The Port of Sheerness is an ideal location to store and distribute cargo, build up contingency stock and watch your business grow.
