Mark Whitworth

Mark Whitworth
Chief Executive Officer Peel Ports Group

Mark has been Chief Executive Officer of Peel Ports since July 2010, prior to which he was Chief Executive Officer of Peel Airports. Mark started his career as an Operations Manager for Marks & Spencer plc, before spending 12 years at Speedy Hire plc in various Managing Director roles.

 

Graeme Charnock

Graeme Charnock
Chief Financial Officer Peel Ports Group

Graeme joined the Peel Ports board as Chief Financial Officer in 2011 and oversees the financial activities across the whole of the Peel Ports Group. Previously he has held roles as Chief Financial Officer for Invensys Rail and Finance Director for AMEC Group Limited, the principal trading company of AMEC plc.

Patrick Walters

Patrick Walters
Chief Operating Officer Peel Ports Group

Patrick has worked in the ports industry for almost 20 years, initially with P&O Ports and DP World. Between 2008 and 2013 he held the position of Commercial Director at Associated British Ports. In July 2014 Patrick was appointed Group Commercial Director at Peel Ports overseeing contract negotiations, sales, property matters and business intelligence. Immediately prior to joining Peel Ports, Patrick provided advisory and consulting services to a number of financial institutions and other firms operating in the ports sector.


Gary Hodgson

Gary Hodgson
Strategic Projects Director Peel Ports Group

Gary Hodgson is Strategic Projects Director of the Group, and has been with Peel Ports since 2008. He has extensive experience developing manufacturing and logistics bases for global companies, having previously held senior management positions with Thorn lighting and Philips Electricals.

David Huck

David Huck
Deputy Chief Operating Officer Peel Ports Group

David has worked in the logistics solutions sector for over 20 years, initially within the vehicle supply chain as Operations Director and for the last 12 years has held senior positions within both Hutchison Port Holdings and Peel Ports Group. In 2010 David joined Peel Ports Group, holding the positions of Head of Port Operations and Port Director. David now oversees the day to day Group’s Ports and operating supporting services. He has a BSc (Hons) in Industrial Engineering and an MBA in Industrial Management.

Koert Luitwieler

Koert Luitwieler
Shipping Director Peel Ports Group

Koert joined Peel Ports Group as Shipping Director four years ago. His previous roles include Operations Director at BG Freight Line, a position he held for eight years, working with BG Freight Line for a total of 22 years to develop their imports, exports and operations bases.


Julia Bradley

Group Sales and Marketing Director

Julia is responsible for building the identity and profile of the organisation, as well as communicating and delivering business development propositions and initiatives to unlock value and create commercial advantage.

With over 25 years’ experience in highly competitive, FTSE 250 companies - or their equivalent - Julia is a commercially experienced sales and marketing professional in both B2C and B2B sectors. Before joining Peel Ports she was the Marketing Director at travel goods manufacturer Antler, and previous to that held a similar role with international food group Moy Park and McBride’s, one of Europe’s leading suppliers of household and personal care products.

Stephen Carr

Group Commercial Director

Stephen joined Peel Ports in 2009 as Head of Business Development for the Mersey Division before moving to his current group role, Commercial Director in 2017. In this role, Stephen leads a team responsible for providing the group with market insights, analysis and an assessment of strategic opportunities, across all of its locations and commodity groups including energy, liquids, unitised trade and bulks. During his time with Peel Ports, Stephen has played a leading role in strategic projects including the development of Liverpool2, the growth in the use of the Manchester Ship Canal (as a multimodal logistics hub), and the development of port-centric warehousing throughout North-west England.

Prior to joining Peel Ports, Stephen had a career in the energy and logistics sectors with BP and TDG.
