Caring for our environment

Environment

Peel Ports is committed to operating a way that minimises our environmental impact whilst striving towards sustainable economic growth.

We will achieve this by:

  • Continuing to ensure that the business direction is aligned with our group environment policy
  • Identifying areas of the business where there is opportunity to reduce our environment impact through risk assessment and process changes
  • Demonstrating compliance with all statutory requirements in each country that we operate within
  • Thinking about the environmental impact of our supply chain
  • Improving environmental awareness amongst employees, visitors and customers
  • Promoting an employee culture around reporting environmental incidents
  • Making our environmental performance and approaches towards improvement visible across all levels of the organisation
  • Maintaining Peel Ports’ reputation as a responsible operator among all stakeholders, including the communities in which we operate

This section of our website will be dedicated to highlighting our efforts towards honouring these commitments.
