Chief Executive Officer
Mark has been Chief Executive Officer of Peel Ports since July 2010, prior to which he was Chief Executive Officer of Peel Airports. Mark started his career as an Operations Manager for Marks & Spencer plc, before spending 12 years at Speedy Hire plc in various Managing Director roles.
Chief Financial Officer
Graeme joined the Peel Ports board as Chief Financial Officer in 2011 and oversees the financial activities across the whole of the Peel Ports Group. Previously he has held roles as Chief Financial Officer for Invensys Rail and Finance Director for AMEC Group Limited, the principal trading company of AMEC plc.
Managing Director - Group Ports
David has worked in logistics solutions for over 24 years, initially within the vehicle supply chain as Operations Director and for the last 14 years has held senior positions within both Hutchison Port Holdings and Peel Ports Group. In 2010 David joined Peel Ports Group, holding the positions of Head of Port Operations, Port Director and Deputy Chief Operating Officer and has held a Board position since 2017. David now oversees the Groups Port and Marine operating business, which includes Port Director teams, Group Marine and 7 UK Statutory Harbour Authorities. He is also the Chairman of the Liverpool and Manchester Port Security Authority.
Managing Director - Port Logistics
With a background in mechanical engineering, Gary worked for some of the world’s major consumer electronics manufacturers prior to joining Peel Ports in 2008.
His previous experience includes senior positions within Philips, the global technology firm, where he was part of the management team for the electronics manufacturing division. During his time at Philips, Gary managed one of the largest UK restructuring projects for the firm. He also oversaw a major transfer of facilities from the West to the East of England.
Prior to joining Peel Ports, Gary was Operations Director at Thorn Lighting, where he initially led on UK operations before leading the organisation as it expanded into Asia. As Operations Director for Asia, he was based in South East China with responsibility for developing a manufacturing and logistics base in China to serve Asia, Australia and Europe.
Gary joined Peel Ports in 2008 as Managing Director of Mersey Ports, which included the Port of Liverpool and Manchester Ship Canal. In July 2014 he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer for the Peel Ports Group.
Group Commercial Director
Stephen joined Peel Ports in 2009 as Head of Business Development for the Mersey Division before moving to his current group role, Commercial Director in 2017. In this role, Stephen leads a team responsible for providing the group with market insights, analysis and an assessment of strategic opportunities, across all of its locations and commodity groups including energy, liquids, unitised trade and bulks. During his time with Peel Ports, Stephen has played a leading role in strategic projects including the development of Liverpool2, the growth in the use of the Manchester Ship Canal (as a multimodal logistics hub), and the development of port-centric warehousing throughout North-west England. Prior to joining Peel Ports, Stephen had a career in the energy and logistics sectors with BP and TDG.
CEO BG Freight Line
Koert joined Peel Ports Group as Shipping Director four years ago. His previous roles include Operations Director at BG Freight Line, a position he held for eight years, working with BG Freight Line for a total of 22 years to develop their imports, exports and operations bases.
Managing Director Port Services
Lewis joined the Peel Ports board as Managing Director Port Services in October 2019. In this role, Lewis leads the groups HR, Capital Projects, Procurement, Environmental, Planning and Asset Management functions. Previously he has held the position of Finance Director for MediaCityUK, CFO of Peel Airports and a range of roles involving Finance, Operations and Acquisitions within Speedy Hire Plc.
